The Commercial Lines CSR Assistant assists in the service of new commercial accounts and the retention of existing commercial accounts. Provides prompt, efficient, high-quality service to designated accounts in support of Agency and Producer activities, working under the direction of a Licensed CSR and Licensed Commercial Lines Manager.  They are responsible for commercial lines growth, retention, profitability, and retention of accounts.

Required Abilities

         ·   Must be an assertive self-starter with the ability to influence others. Should have demonstrated effective presentation skills through both verbal and written communications. Minimum two years experience in insurance, underwriting, risk management, or commercial benefits required. College degree and/or advanced insurance designations may be used in lieu of experience.

Required Responsibility

· Must have all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to discuss and/or sell insurance.  Ability to use personal computer, calculator, agency automation system, automated voice-mail, and proficiency in various standard and insurance carrier software programs, including but not limited to AMS360, Transact Now, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer.
